This native-yeast loaf is the heartier of our two plain loaves and is made using freshly-milled whole grain red wheat (our own Rouge de Bordeaux, a grain prized by French breadmakers). The crumb of this bread is quite close, as the flavorful bran in the flour is naturally gluten-inhibiting.

Available as a pan loaf only.
